Privacy policy
Plain-language draft. Have it reviewed by an attorney before launch; this is not legal advice.
The Prep Table College Advising ("The Prep Table," "I," "me") respects your family's privacy. This policy explains what information I collect through this website and how I use it.
What I collect
- Inquiry form: your name, email, phone number (optional), your student's grade, the services you're interested in, and your message.
- Family questionnaire: parent and student names and emails, school, grades, test scores, activities, and college plans you choose to share.
- Email: anything you send to hello@preptablecollege.com.
How I use it
Only to reply to you, prepare for and provide advising services, and keep records of our work together. I never sell, rent, or trade your information, and I don't use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Form responses and email are stored in my Google Workspace account (Google Forms, Google Drive, and Gmail), which uses industry-standard security. Only I have access. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may record your device's IP address. The site doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Students under 18
I work with high school students together with their parents or guardians, and I ask that a parent or guardian submit or approve the questionnaire. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How long I keep it
I keep client records while we work together and for a reasonable time afterward, then delete them. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete your information, write to hello@preptablecollege.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
