Terms of use

Plain-language draft. Have it reviewed by a Texas attorney before launch; this is not legal advice. A signed client agreement gives you stronger protection than website terms alone.

Educational guidance only

The Prep Table College Advising provides college application coaching: planning, brainstorming, feedback, and organization. Information on this website is general and educational. It isn't legal, financial, tax, or financial aid advice.

No guarantees

Admission, scholarship, and financial aid decisions are made solely by colleges and other organizations. I can't and don't guarantee admission to any school, a scholarship, an amount of aid, or any other result.

Student responsibility

Students write their own essays and applications. Students and families are responsible for the accuracy and honesty of everything they submit, for reviewing applications before submitting them, and for meeting all deadlines and requirements set by each college or program. Final essay drafts are due at least 72 hours before each application deadline. Drafts received later may not get a full review.

Services not offered

I don't provide test tutoring, complete the FAFSA or CSS Profile, or submit applications on a student's behalf.

Payment

Prices are listed on the Services and Pricing page and may change; changes don't affect services already agreed to. The Junior Year to Senior Year Package is paid in two parts: half when your student starts, and half in June, at the beginning of senior year. The Senior Year Package is paid in two parts: half when your student starts, and half 30 days later. Rush add-on: $500 if your student's first application deadline is less than 3 weeks away when we start. If you cancel, I'll refund the pro-rated portion of any prepaid service that hasn't been delivered yet. Meetings already held and work already completed aren't refundable.

Testimonials and results

Testimonials and admissions shared on this site reflect individual students' experiences and accomplishments. Every student is different, and results vary.
